Ms. Katz has been an attorney for over 27 years and has been a member in good standing of The Florida Bar since 1996. She received her Juris Doctor (J.D) degree from Nova Southeastern University Sheppard Broad Law Center where she was a member of the Moot Court Society and received the Book Award for achieving the highest grade in Corporations. Ms. Katz attended the State University of New York at Stony Brook where she received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in English with a minor in History. While at Stony Brook, Ms. Katz was a member of the equestrian team and the Golden Key Honor Society. Since graduating law school, Lisa made Florida her home and has represented numerous businesses and large corporations in thousands of workers’ compensation matters for over 28 years. Ms. Katz has tried many cases to verdict. This level of experience has given her a deep understanding of the workers’ compensation laws and the ability to aggressively and effectively represent her clients.
